MULTIMEDIA MANAGEMENT
Ouvrage 9781903996232 : MULTIMEDIA MANAGEMENT
With the arrival of multimedia services via the network the study of
multimedia transmission over various network technologies has been the
focus of interest for research teams all over the world.
The previously antagonistic QoS and IP-based network technologies are
now part of an integrated approach, which are expected to lead to new
intelligent approaches to traffic and congestion control, and to provide
the end user with quality service customised multimedia communications.
This publication emanates from papers presented at a Multimedia
Management conference held in Paris in May 2000.
